Now Behind the Bar
2022 was the year we worked with Cata Coffee on their visual identity refresh. Back then, founders Marian and Han, who were running an online shop as roasters, were already dreaming of a physical home to brew. That dream now lives in their newly opened brick-and-mortar, where they have been brewing coffees for more than a year now! Committed to creating a customer experience that feels personal and inclusive, Cata Coffee worked with us to design every touchpoint meticulously, making sure that each person feels cared for from the moment they walk in.

An Invitation to be Curious
From studying the menu to lingering at the retail shelf, Cata Coffee intentionally creates room for thoughtful interactions. There’s never a dull moment as you’re invited to observe the making of your coffee, or to be curious about it. Every corner of the store encourages participation, and we designed a suite of collateral that reinforces this vision.
Coffee cards introduce each coffee’s story and origin, offering coffee drinkers a window into its provenance. Menus are designed to showcase variety through thoughtful categorisation, helping you find exactly what you’re looking for. Product information cards reinforces the Cata Coffee’s commitment to quality. Lastly, born from Marian’s interactions with customers (since day one), the brew recipe card fulfils a special purpose - for sharing how the coffees are best brewed.
