Aquí, when translated from Spanish into English is "Here & Now". Founded by María Trujillo Olaiz, the studio's homonym in Japanese, aki, means bright and radiant; these combined with the Spanish translation are the qualities that the studio aims to bring to every project.
Aquí is an ethically driven creative boutique based in sunny Singapore. We believe the power of design can change perceptions in more than just conventional ways to create a clearer now, and a better tomorrow.
We love designing brand identities, websites, books and objects for clients, audiences and ourselves.
If you are seeing this, we probably want to meet you.
Ethics in design is important to us because it creates a positive culture within the company and beyond. We are a team of energetic, curious, passionate and honest people who believe in teamwork. We practice ethical actions when it comes to the industries we work with and believe in taking leadership in that.
Our core value statement is to help organisations, big or small, to use design to innovate and grow. We use our skills and experience to reflect the organisations true mission.
We hold integrity high on our list. Aim to have fair business practices with customers and vendors with the objective to always produce the highest quality standards in our work.
